Treat your family to delicious cajun etouffee tonight.

Serving Suggestions: Cut up 1 pound uncooked chicken (or shrimp or crawfish). In a 4 to 5 quart pot, bring 4 1/2 cups water or chicken broth and 1 stick butter or margarine to a boil. Add Luzianne Etouffee and chicken while stirring. Empty 1/2 of the red pepper packet into Luzianne Etouffee. Put remainder aside. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Taste Luzianne Etouffee, and, if desired, season with remaining red pepper from packet and additional table salt. Cover and continue to simmer for 5 minutes. Note, if using uncooked shrimp or crawfish, taste the mixture at approx 18 minutes, add any additional seasonings if desired, then add the shrimp or crawfish and simmer for another 7 minutes.

Ingredients: rice, red and green bell peppers, modified food starch, onion, hydrolyzed soy protein, salt, flour, spices, natural flavors, celery, monosodium glutamate, red pepper, caramel color, sodium sulfite as a preservative.
